Captivating Color Looks

Karine’s key trends have been vibrant dense organic colors – rich coppers, fiery reds, ice blondes and midnight blacks – using block techniques and heavy panelling for the application of color.  Her cuts can be very dramatic (think shaven sides with conflicting bouncy soft curls), and bowl cuts with heavy fringes.  Basically she is able to make the world of glamor meet nature’s organic best.

Karine started her career in a family salon in Wollongong and went on to win London Hairdresser of the Year in 2007. Karine will inspire hairstylists of all levels by using organic color that is not only great for salon clients but for the hairdresser, the colorist and the environment. Karine is an ambitious and respected hair stylist who, despite being trained to the highest level by L’Oreal, has chosen to endorse our products.

Color: On undercut section, Naturlite + Naturlite Oil + 11HS + Silver Concentrate + 12% Cream Activator. All over color with a toner of 11HN + 3% Activator.

Styling: To style we used Spray Gel on the roots and Glaze to finish.

Styling: Thermal 2 Twenty heat protector and Spray Gloss to style.

Color: Naturlite + Naturlite Oil and 9% Cream Activator, 10 + 12% Activator. We sliced the color through the top and on a section 4” from temples around to nape on both sides we applied the 10 + 12% Activator.

Styling: Styled with Volume Mousse and Gloss Serum mixed together.

Color: 9GD + 8GD + 9% Activator with Copper Concentrate.

Styling: To style I crimped the roots all the way through, then tonged the hair and brushed out to get the raw organic freedom this style has. We used Finale Spray on each section as we were going along.

Color: 3 + 4GD.

Styling: Spray Gel applied to the roots. Glaze to finish.

Color: I pre-lightened with Naturlite + 6% Activator + Naturlite Oil, then all over 7RC + Red Intensifier 30 drops and Red Concentrate mixed with 6% Activator. Then added 25ml Red Intensifier with 50ml Aqua Boost Treatment as a bright toner.

Styling: I styled with Volume Mousse and my hands to get the texture.

Color: Pre-lightened around the perimeter of the hair. Whilst this was processing I colored the rest with 3 and Green Intensifier with 3% Activator. On the pre-colored hair I used Power Build Treatment with Red Intensifier.

Styling: Spray Gel and Gloss Serum used to style.

Styling: To style we twisted 1cm sections, sprayed with Finale Hairspray and matting up we sealed with the hot irons.
