Follow the Seasons

Clients like changing up their hairstyle with the seasons. In Spring time a client may want to add some highlights to their hairstyle and “jazz” things up. When Summer roles around that same client may be ready to get more vibrant highlights or highlight more of her hair. When Fall begins clients often look for warmer tones such as browns or reds, much like the foliage of the season. Finally we reach winter. Its at this time that clients look to start over. They want deeper colors and often cover their highlights.

As a hairstylist its your job to foresee these changes and suggest ways to help your clients change their hairstyle with the season. During your haircare consultation, discuss the changing seasons and offer suggestions to your client. They will be impressed that you’re thinking of their hairstyle needs and looking ahead to help them as best you can.
