  3. The treatment takes anywhere from 1 hour to up to 3 hours for long and very thick frizzy hair. Typically, salons are charging between $250 and $400 depending on the demographics of their geographic location.

  4. can get color at the sametime i am getting a treatment. I have a lot of grey and my hair has been chemically perm and I must have black hair

  5. In this order. Aquaboost Shampoo, then Aquaboost Treatment to soften and lend moisture to the grey/chemically treated cuticle. THEN color. Followed by KeraGreen last. KeraGreen will actually help to seal in the color. Thanks.

  6. So..the starter package has how many applications?

I’m in Central Maine..Wondering what to charge in this area..

  7. The starter package will do 10 – 12 applications. The prices salons are charging for a Keragreen treatment varies widely but between $175 and $300 seems to be the range. So, at a bare minimum, the starter package has a “salon value” of $1,750 but only costs $389.95! Where your salon falls into the range is going to depend on a number of factors including (1) the demographics and geographic location of your salon; (2) the affluence of your clientele; and (3) the clients hair as longer and thicker hair will take more time and product and will be associated with a higher price.

  8. I have a client with grey almost white hair who has had a keratin treatment that turned her hair yellow She would like me to do her next treatment with an organic formeldehyde free product such as Keragreen Will her hair turn yellow again? Is it not recommended for white hair?

  9. Hello. When grey or white hair turns yellow during a keratin treatment, it is usually because the heat of the flat iron is too hot. I would recommend using 400-410 degrees max on this hair type. Keep in mind that you can always increase the temperature if it is not working, with these clients start at lower temp and work higher if needed. Also, reduce the number of passes that you would make with the flat iron. Once the hair begins to shine, it is most likely sealed, so there no need to over do it and continue flat ironing that piece.

  10. Can you comment on how well Keragreen works on ethnic curly hair? Is it about more flat iron passes? Is it about opening cuticle first with AquaBoost treatment? Can you add a video or other instructions onto the website?
    Thanks

  11. KeraGreen works fantastically on ethnic hair, Monica. First you want to clarify the hair with the Pre-Treatment Clarifying the shampoo. That will remove all impurities and prep the hair for the KeraGreen treatment. Be sure to check out our detailed how-to video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kfv5raJJ5sQ
