Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Extract

A natural product derived from the concentrated extract of actives of sunflower seed. The action of pollution, sun damage and UV irradiation all cause free radicals to form, which damage the cuticle layers and allow the protein in hair to leak out. This weakens the hair structure and causes Color loss on normal hair. The action of free radicals, mainly caused by the action of the sun’s UV irradiation, accelerates the destruction on the surface of the hair leading to cracking of the cuticle. This induces the breakdown of the intercellular cement and allows leakage of the protein and loss of moisture.

This ingredient is proven to:

• neutralize free radicals

• protect from UV irradiation

• reduce Color fade both on normal and Color treated hair

• ease combing when wet

• help as a thermal barrier

• improve moisture retention

Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein and Gluten

100% active multi-molecular weight protein complex that also holds well to the hair. In addition, it has moisturising qualities, thus avoiding the possibility of the hair going rigid.  High in the amino acid tyrosine, it helps the hair to absorb hair color molecules.

This protein complex:

• has multi-molecular weights

• has positively charged IONs

• attracts to damaged negative sites

• improves wet and dry hair strength

• is rich in tyrosine – helps hair Color molecules attach

• adds a moisture molecule in addition

Additionally, Certified Organic Sweet Almond Oil and Certified Jojoba Seed Oil have conditioning properties, Certified Aloe Juice and Comfrey are used for their scalp soothing and moisturizing benefits, and Certified Organic Chamomile is used for its anti-inflammatory and soothing properties.
