Going organic was the natural step for her, with her background education in nutrition and love of a holistic lifestyle. She had grown weary of working at salons and with products that promoted themselves as “Natural, organic, or eco-friendly” when they were actually anything but. Tina Hoffmann - Organic Salon EducatorTina Hoffman – Regional Organic Educator – Napa, CA
I have always had a love of hair and fashion, mostly how hair plays into fashion and the lives of everyday people no matter what their lifestyle.Starting at age 16, I was designing hair for weddings and special events.
After graduating from high school I followed my family’s desire for me to attend college. At every given opportunity, I dabbled in hair design, not yet conscious of the fact that this was my true passion and ultimately my life’s work.

After a short stint in the corporate world, I began to listen to that inner voice and went back to school at Le Mélange Cosmetology School. This is where the seeds of inspiration began to cultivate. I had many amazing experiences – from working with color specialists at Framesi, Goldwell & Redken to cutting and styling with Yosh. I worked closely with several talented hair dressers and began styling for celebrities, special events and elite private weddings.

I have always lived an extremely health-conscious lifestyle, which was in great conflict to the environment created in most salons. After years of exposure to toxins in my industry it finally clicked one day that not only was this not in sync with my beliefs, but as a salon owner, I could do something about it. So, in 2007 I integrated Organic Salon Color Systems into my salon and never looked back.

I have created a beautifully green, earth conscious business, delivering organic, non-toxic beauty options, which no longer contradicts my core beliefs or compromises the health of my clients. Using cutting edge technology, I have the freedom to create amazingly healthy hair time and time again.

Knowing we have a safer option in Organic Color Systems has only made my passion for color grow even stronger. My talent literally shines on my clients’ hair when they leave the salon. As a teacher, I can empower others to understand the importance of choosing OCS, helping our industry to convert to safer products and ultimately making our world and our environment a better place!
